James Marshall Black presentation on LG73.com radio

Music with a heart and meaning has not gone away, it rocks and it lives in James Marshall Black. With his no frills approach to song writing and a myriad of influences. James Marshall Black is well produced and his talent shines in the songs he writes, his amazing voice and in the instruments he plays. James Marshall Black, has been writing songs for 20 years, has played in several bands to showcase his varied talents in rock, punk, pop, acoustic and more. His songs cover styles from hard heavy thrill rides to gentle acoustic story tellers. His influences include such legends as Marc Bolan, David Bowie and more. He also writes for other artists, and has extensive production experience with his own download indie label, ‘Little Bigfire Records. James’s first single, ‘Long Live Summer’ was released as a download in July 2007, a second single is scheduled for spring 2008.
LG73 Internet Radio broadcasts live from Vancouver BC Canada to the world. LG73 was created as a tribute to a former Vancouver radio giant of the same name. LG73 features live radio shows with presenters from around the planet with varied styles of music. In between the live shows, LG73 present a mostly Canadian multi-genre music mix with an emphasis on contemporary adult music. LG73 was used as a prototype for a new FM radio format in Canada that launched in Ontario in 2006. The station’s showcase program is called The RaMOANa Experience. Hosted by RaMOANa live from Florida on Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. Pacific (and repeated Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pacific, 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. GMT), the show features an eclectic mix of interesting music with an emphasis on the work of David Bowie. RaMOANa’s excellent taste in music is matched by her insights into the world of Bowie and other music performers.
